These search tips are common for all search engines.
- search is not case sensitive.
- in order to find result with all of the words submit words or phrase.
- in order to find result with exact phrase submit double quoted text "...".
- use a plus sign (+) to include common words and a minus sign (-) to exclude search term.
- search of 'apes +are primates' includes the verb 'are' in result.
- photos -adult will return result without adult content.
- use AND to search for match on every word or phrase. 'Online shopping' AND 'flowers online'
will return result that contain mostly both terms.
- if something is known by more than one name use OR to match on any of the words or phrases entered.
'online shopping' OR 'online flowers' will bring result that contain either or both terms.
- synonym search increases range of meanings so '~help computer' for example
will be expanded to these terms help, tutorial, tips or troubleshooting computer.
